Side mirrors not adjusting up and down

My side mirrors won't adjust up/down, even though sideways left/right works just fine. It's the same on both sides. Any idea on what the problem could be?

If it's both mirrors then I'm going to guess an issue with your mirror control pad (C in diagram below).

I got this checked out. Turns out all the wires were broken because of water. The only way to fix it was by replacing the complete side mirrors, and for me that isn't worth it.
