Interested to hear what others think:

My driver's side mirror adjusts to point further outward pretty much anytime the car is parked very long. When I get in the car and start it, the mirror unfolds correctly. However, the glass will be pointed far to the left. I need to select it and readjust it every time I drive.

I thought it might be that the folding motion was somehow bumping the glass or moving it somehow. However, I just sat in the car and used the button to fold the mirrors multiple times. Each time, that mirror came right back positioned correctly. So, now I'm thinking that it just slowly moves when sitting, for instance, overnight.

Anyone else have an issue like this? The car is under warranty, and this isn't correct behavior, but I'm pretty skeptical the dealership will know what to do about it unless I can point them in the right direction.

You probably have the too-far-out position saved in your profile, so it automatically adjusts the mirror to that spot. Put it where you want it to be, then re-save it to your profile.

First thing that comes to mind is your driver profile. Do you manually fix it each time or just push the profile button and let it auto adjust to your saved setting?

I suspect you're a genius. I'll know for sure by tomorrow. Thanks!

I manually fix it, and have a profile set up, but never thought to save my mirrors into my profile. So, that's almost certainly it. I'll get it all pushed to my profile later today.

So, it wasn't obvious to me. How do I resave it to my profile? I adjusted the mirrors, then went to my profile, but if I just Edit my profile and then re-save, does it pick up the changes? Editing my profile seems to just have options for my name, picture, etc.

Adjust the mirrors, and then hold in whichever number button on the door corresponds to your profile.
