Speedo shows 1 MPH while Parked

It's a bug, it's fixed by putting a car in the middle where the 1 used to be. Then you forget about the 1kph because you're fixated on the car in the middle of the screen doing nothing.
Come on 7.0 Powerups. There's a growing list of bugs Ford.

This one happened to my GT yesterday after 24-PU0105-CMR-FX driver monitoring system for false eyes off warnings.

Yes, I started to have the same issue with mine over the last while. Sometimes repeatedly. Dealer had a look but not able to find anything.

Dealer was able to resolve issue. They found a DTC for one pedal fault. Ford advised dealer that the ABS module was main driver and to hardwire update(not OTA) via FDRS the PCM, ABS, BECM, SOBDM, SOBDMB, SOBDMC modules and the issue has been corrected.

This was my car when I first got it, only did this once, never had the issue again. I think it had something to do with a OTA update.

what’s even more trippy is that when I went to Canada last weekend, I switched to Km/H with the switch in the General settings. It shows Km/H and MPH at the bottom. A couple of times at a stop light it was 0 Km/h and 1 MPH. ?

It hasn’t bothered me in the past year or so that it’s been happening.

I posted a few days ago it started showing 1 mph after a software update. It corrected itself while i was using the Ford Navigation/map app. More specifically, i had it route me “Home”. While on route, the first stop at a traffic light showed 0 at a stop for the first time in 4 days. Was it coincidental or is this the fix? Try it and let me know if this worked for anyone else.

I took my car to the dealership to fix a Failed Software update on the Gateway Module and also complained about that. They mentioned this was a know issue. IPC and a bunch of other modules were updated, but the error is still there.

@Ford Motor Company Can you please provide a definitive solution to this issue? It's been ongoing for months...

I'm not asking for that speed to be 100% accurate to GPS level, but it's extremely annoying that it says I'm still moving, while parked or stopped at traffic light.

I also noticed that the speed information I get from OBDII is slightly bellow or above by a few km/h than what the IPC is showing to me. That also makes me worry I might get in trouble because the information being displayed to me while driving is actually incorrect.

It is better than the Citroen I was driving in France this summer that shut off while driving. The dash froze while I was entering a construction zone, so I had no idea if I had slowed down enough. After maybe 10 secs the entire dash and HVAC shut off but the engine kept running. It then rebooted and was fine for two weeks after.

I've mentioned before, some math series begin at zero, some others at one. Who knows what Ford software does, there are likely dozens of programs affecting the display.
