Slowest Selling EV In US - Mach E

According to caredge.com the Ford Mach E is now the slowest selling EV in US and 3rd slowest selling vehicle of any kind with a 362 market day supply on dealer lots. Ford needs to get off their rear end and start heavily discounting to incintivize purchasers.

In all fairness to Ford this could be a major over supply by Ford not reducing production to compensate for poor sales and demand.

Personally I think it’s seasonal. As soon as the spring mix gasoline comes back priced sore EV will become more popular.

Summer is definitely better for EV’s but a lot of this inventory was building last summer.

There was too much hype a few years ago and everyone jumping over each other to get an EV. I've always liked EVs but wasn't thrilled at the dcfc infrastructure so I settled on plugin hyrids, no regrets. Zero issues, 150k miles driven with two of them.

Between the dumb politics of everything (including EVs) and the media misinformation, it’s no wonder people shy away. It’s too bad …

First of all winter gas is ALWAYS cheaper than summer gas. The reason is traveling. This is the WHY gas prices increase on holidays. What is hurting EV sales is lack of infrastructure for charging. Until Tesla opens up there will be issues.

I really like my electric for me. However they are a joke for traveling. Especially in winter. But amazing within 90 miles of your garage. Government typically wrong on what works. But at least they are deaf and can’t do math. But I love it for me. Fastest way to get thru traffic for sure.
