I'm heading in the "delete Facebook account" direction myself.

I use FB mainly for my British car hobby. There's no other way to find and dialog with someone anywhere on the planet with such immediacy and ease. Parts availability, advice and research has no equal.

The rest of it just gets in the way and is easily ignored.
