I've been pretty disappointed in the Ford communications and how they have handled this car. I love the vehicle - but was promised a software update to give it self-driving (or I could leave it for a week at the shop and they can do it) and so far, no update or software has come in for it. I also haven't been able to do the roof recall since they only give a rental car for 2 days for a weeks worth of work - hmmmm. What about the other days??

Then we get an email for streaming. I was excited about that. Except, it's been weeks and it's not even showing up as 'what's coming' or 'how to add.'

Even streaming audio from the phone for movies or tv shows has such terrible lag (unless it's plugged into the usb port) that it's completely unwatchable.

Seems like a lot of lies and hype that doesn't really live up to it. Unfortunately.
Love the car, but losing faith in Ford to deliver the proper communication or updates.

Even updating the Apple Maps and not giving us an option to change arrival vehicle charge amount back to the amount of time to get to the destination is terrible in my opinion. They could do a lot better.

I guarantee you were not.
We know what they mean though. They were promised BlueCruise and I gotta admit it's crazy some people still don't have it and that the CSP expires, I've been very vocal about this I know haha.

Yup, I totally understand the sentiment. But when I see anyone talk about "self-driving", I've gotta call it out. It's dangerous for people to think that's a thing.

It sounds like you've just been ignoring the communication Ford has sent. Based off you qualifying for the roof recall, you've clearly ignored the notice about 21P22 and the CSP for BlueCruise, which both say to go to your dealer to get the updates. They also mention this will get your car squared away so you can properly get over the air updates.

If your dealer is giving you issues with the roof recall, you just need go to another dealer. You live in Los Angeles and have way more dealers around you than most other cities. 21P22 that does a bunch of other updates does expire at the end of this month. You most certainly will get a loaner for the full time the dealer has your car for the roof recall, just pick another dealer that isn't a piece of crap. Plenty of dealers in LA have been recommended on here.

I was just gonna post about this cause I saw it on the Ford site too! This is exciting! I hope it's at least Netflix!
It mentions "Alexa". If anything, I think Prime Video may be it, or first. Maybe others later.

This thread was started before streaming was released. At this point, it's a little late to be first since we already have YouTube and a couple NBC apps.
