Hi,
Does everyone get the squeak while stopping effect with their MME?

car is too new to need brakes and sounds different than ICE vehicles that need brakes. Not sure if this just the way ev’s sound when they stop or struts or other issue.

Not clear from your description what is going on. I do place my Mach in neutral from time to time on a downhill and then apply brakes. That cleans off the rotors. Most of the time the car uses regenerative braking so rust can build up. May not be your issue though.

I only hear odd braking sounds when I'm not stopped before being 20 feet behind another stopped car. Also, my wife has to be in the car with me.

The sound you get when a golf cart stops. Different sound and feel than squeaky brakes

Search the forum here for threads on bedding the brakes. There are quite a few; it sounds like that’s all you need to do.

Only when car comes almost to a stop or during the entire braking process? In either 1 pedal or regular the braking is almost totally regenerative so brake pads not used much. Final thought might be do you use auto hold? I am just thinking of when pads may be engaged. No idea what it may be if it is not a brake pad issue.

Only when coming to complete stop, not the entire braking process . I rarely use one pedal.I never use autohold. Assumed it just locks in drive or reverse so knob can’t move accidentally

My understanding is the brakes do not engage, if braking smoothly, until almost stopped. So it does seem like a brake issue. Just to be sure have you looked at your rotors? Also did you try shifting into neutral and apply the brakes on a downhill in order to clean them off? That is all I can think of. I can hear a creaky noise when I inch forward in the garage but nothing during normal driving.
