So basically you want to make the system hands free?

Why not wait until the hands free update comes later this year?

Please don’t insult me! But today I drove 200km in mostly straight highway. I and would have loved to have a counter weight installed on my steering wheel like this one : https://www.wish.com/c/606488a662f2...98fY_gPbDGbvBaXcnj0ect1ga8imgfnRoCYG8QAvD_BwE

I would love to have that small weight during my long drives! Do you have anything manufactured expressely for the Mach-e?
Would that perhaps be illegal, unsafe, and less effective than using the official hands-free driving system? It seems like the Mach-E hands free system would be perfect for a drive like that. Hopefully, you will have it soon!

That's a REALLY bad idea and product. The regular lane centering is not really accurate enough for you not to be paying attention, or more accurately for you not to be ready to take over. It is really good, but there are times when it gets confused by the lines on the road and gives up. When it does give up you need your hand on the wheel to take over immediately.

As jamie says, wait for the real handsfree capability with bluecruise

I didnt mean not to look at the road ahead. Just until they make the hands free system. I doubt it will be ready before 2022...

And if the hands free is anywhere like the GM one, only a couple of highways will be enabled...

I had the update at the dealer. It didn’t work. They don’t know why. And they won’t try anything else…

Sounds like you need to go to a different dealer that will actually contact the hotline and get the help they need

Did the update fail? Or is bluecruise not working after the update?

Please don’t try to defeat, cheat, or override the system. This is one of the many things that gives Tesla drivers a bad name. I’d rather it not spread to us.

Just take the bus then if you do t want to drive, would hate to see a mustang under the ass end of a 18 wheeler, the driver well I guess in a way they get what they deserve- DO T BE A TESLAIN OR IDIOT FLORIDIAN

The update did go through. But at the end, bluecruise is not functionnal. They said that they contacted Ford, and that I am in the 5% that happens...

Well, the lane assist and adaptive cruise control works really well in my case. I have no fear of ending under an 18 wheeler!

I never had bluecruise working from day one; had issues with the telematics module which eventually got replaced. Bluecruise started working thereafter.

Ever have any FordPass/car communication issues?
