Ordered my Mach-E this past Monday and submitted the form for tracking. I couldn't seem to find an order number, though, on either the build sheet from the dealer or the confirmation e-mail from Ford, so the number I provided was the "order code" on my build sheet. Did everything through e-mail/phone with the dealer.

Posted my information re; Mach E order info today, 2/23/2022.the only issue is mine is a 2022 with one of the new colors, which was not on your list. Iced Blue Silver Metallic.

Placed my order 12/7/21. No build date or vin yet. It is a Red GT. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will get it this Summer (2022) As it will be our only car and we are in our late 70's, and we live in central Minnesota we hope we will not have any problems.

Hello All,

It seems Ford's ordering system and how they track orders from individuals or Dealerships are all over the map and very inconsistent. I feel for so many of you out there and perhaps my waiting period is not so bad after all but you never know.....

Received Email from Ford a week later....
Yesterday I received a build week of 2/14/22 which was confirmed from my Salesperson last week and also got a Vin #

Anyone have any luck lately with calling Ford lines? Vice calling a dealer (worthless). I ordered in early November and have had zero notifications from Ford since then.
Kind of maddening seeing people with order dates after me getting production/deliver dates. All I have is “order confirmed”.

Did you order directly with a dealer or did you place your oder online? If you ordered online does your reservation show as accepted by they dealer?

I also ordered in November, no build date as of yet.

ordered online and was quickly accepted by the dealer. Good question though. Forgot about that step.

Your post is exactly like mine, but 7 weeks ago. (-:
4 digits in the order means your dealer order for you, instead of you ordering and paying the deposit directly on ford's website (those have 8 digits). Other than that, no difference. You will receive emails from Ford (the few and unhelpful ones anyways).
My email also didn't have any order number. Normal Ford bs. I actually used the chat on Ford's website, but this can't be fixed, two completely distinct ordering systems.

I'm sure everyone who "waits" (me: day 79 of predicted 196-day wait, or 280-day wait or whenever) really appreciated Ford's "STAY EXHILERATED" message. "Stay Informed" is also advice that is very difficult to follow.

Ditto on most of your comment. (I'm in ZEV California). However, as my "build date" and likely delivery date drifted farther and farther out into the 2022 calendar, I started looking for alternatives at local dealer inventories. I used my "trade-in markup" to deal with the Hyundai dealer markup on Ioniq 5 Ltd that came available to me. I'll have this BEV for months before I need to decide about my MME order. So, now that I don't "need" another car, I can be comfortable waiting for the "price protection and no-ADM deal" on my MME order to play out. Your intention to patiently wait seems very sound. (It's a great BEV and it will be delivered, eventually.) As for "problems", you'll find on this forum that there seems to be no end to "problems" but just remember that such forums attract comments about problems, more than it attracts the comments about marvelous successes.

Exactly. Day 56 for me. Can't wait for my next "Stay Exhilerated" in a couple of days. ?

From my dealer this morning. My 8-week anniversary was yesterday, so I asked for an update.

Mach E commit was cancelled this week due to the global chip shortage, no Mach E's were scheduled for production. We do not have line of sight on future production due to extenuating factors especially with what is happening around the world right now, sorry.
