I wear shade tree and oakleys, the ones with lenses and not the wrap around ones rattle and move. But mine will move between exiting and entering the vehicle. I have blue eyes so sunglasses are a “daytime” thing unless it’s suuuuper overcast. I ordered the inserts listed above, they look cool, if the issue persists I’ll get some foam from michaels… or rather send my wife, only women can navigate that place

I did a quick search and dont see anything,

Has anyone else had issues with the sunglasses holder not having enough padding or not holding your glasses correctly?

I put mine into it, lenses facing forward, and every time the next time I open it the lenses are down on the little cutout area.

It marred one pair so badly I had to replace them, and now its doing it to the new pair.

Ideally Ide like to find an insert or something to actually keep them facing correctly in there. My other 2 vehicles dont have this issue, and its probably super simple. Anyone else already "solved" this one?

Thanks in advance
There is a sun glasses holder!?

I put my prescription shades in backward. No rattling, no scratches. I did however drop th glasses on the ground in a perfect position to screw up the left lens. ??

I jam my $20 Walmart blue blocker driving sunglasses in there and they have not been damaged by the container. But when/if they wear out, it's back to Walmart and I am out another $20.

I actually pointed this out to @AOSK and they added this apparently to their kit, but then never sent me this addition ?

I use some foam lining my sunglass holder to prevent glasses damage, and also I found sometimes my glasses rattled in there without some padding since that inside is hard plastic. I hate rattles, a little foam solved the issue.
Oh!!! I FORGOT! yes! i wanted to send you one when you pointed this out to us, which color would you prefer.

Is there a trick to getting the ASOK one to fit well and stay up against the back? Just seems to be too large, buckles, and flops forward.

Can this be ordered separately? I got the set, but at that time it did not come with the part for the sunglasses container.

I use a microfiber cloth from one of my pairs of sunglasses.
That is exactly what I've been doing for years in my F150s! I never have had a use for those cloth bags but I have plenty because every set of oakley eyewear has come with them.

I just watched the video in the Amazon link narrated by a German dude, and he pointed out if you take the plastic insert out first, it will fit perfectly. It was at the end of the video.

I think the placement should be lens down. There is a soft rubberized pad in there for the lenses to rest on while in the open position. Then when you close the compartment, the glasses rest on their top edge (as if they were placed on a table or other flat surface). I have been putting mine in there like this for years (both in my MME and Focus Electric) and the lenses are not scratched or damaged at all. I've had this pair for about 3 years now.....

So,my lenses are larger than yours, the 2 points that are touching the rims on yours are what marred the lenses of 2 pair now. They always end up in that position.

When we travel, we carry extra magazines in the sun glass holder, they fit perfect. Holds three to four.
