SW Ontario - Where was your windshield recall work completed?

I need to have the glass work done for the recall but I’ve been holding off after reading about other owners being without their cars for months, issues with quality, issues after the car is returned, etc. The dealers in my area have bad reputations and none of them do glass work, so I’m extra cautious about handing her over. Wondering where people in the area or even in the GTA had their recall work done? What was the experience like? How long did it take?

Hi. I had the recall work done at Erinwood Ford in Mississauga back at the end of March. The service took 3 days and they provided me with a rental from the local Enterprise. They also completed a software upgrade at that time. No issues with the quality of work or duration.

Hi. I went to the dealer I bought it from. I was their first such repair and they provided me a loaner. Unfortunately they miss understood my desire to have the work done when I was on vacation so they didn’t start until I returned. Honestly I think they were nervous with it and they likely heard similar horror stories.
Once they got to it the roof was done quickly. They broke the windshield When removing it. And then supply issues kicked in. All in 6 weeks. When I asked about warranty extension they assured me it won’t be a problem.
My experience has always been great with the dealership So I struggle to share My experience. For me having a dealership or glass company that has done a few is ideal.
