I am having some really bizzare errors. Quick drop down about accessing EV range keeps showing up. "System Error: Cannot access EV range". Also My distance indicator shows I am about to collide with invisible non-existent cars. Its bouncing back and forth like a yo-yo. Car and sensors are clean. Ford replaced / reprogrammed sensors. This happens day/night/traffic/no traffic.
This has been happening for a month or so. I finally had my HVJB recall work completed. This was supposed to have been fixed. My tailgate error not opening through software, key or manual.
I'm losing confidence in this car. 12k more and I'm out of a warranty.
22 premium AWD4X - Only 24K miles.
UPDATE:
Things took a turn from annoying graphical anomaly to dangerous today.
I drove down from Thornton to Colorado Springs. I wasn't getting the collision indicator anomaly so far. Anyway, after a bit of highway driving through Denver morning rush hour traffic I broke free and headed south towards Castle Rock. Not much traffic. I turned blue cruise on. Everything was going swimmingly well from Castle Rock to The northern Part of the Springs (north entrance area). Then The blue protective bubble graphic started to show a car (that didn't exist again) going in and out of the Bubble very quickly. The car started braking and accelerating very quickly like a plunger in a toilet it caught me off guard (and throwing me back and forth in my seat). It cycled like stomping on the brakes then flooring it about 4 times over the course of 3 seconds before I hit the brakes myself to disengage Blue Cruise. That could have been ugly. It felt like someone slamming the brakes while keeping their foot floored on the accelerator.
Don't use Blue Cruise if you have this issue. Nope.
I don't think I'll be driving this car until they figure this out.
