Dark mode and i have reduced the brightness on the display as well, factory setting is set to max brightness.

No question about it. DARK MODE. It took me about a week of playing around with the car in the 1st week (July 2021) of ownership to figure out I prefer DARK MODE. Updates used to switch it back to light mode, but it seem recently it no longer does that. However since I'm now "Stuck" at 6.1.0 I apparently don't have to worry about that any longer LOL.

It took me longer to come around to dark mode. I've always liked using auto on all of my displays. Hope the updates come to you again soon, although you aren't missing out on anything substantial that I can tell.

I've seen a couple of people ask for this too. I've done it through Developer Options. If you have developer settings enabled, search for "override force-dark" and turn it on. You'll then have FordPass in dark mode. It doesn't look great, but it is better than the default display in dark/low light by not blinding you (see screenshot).

Maybe I should make a thread about this since I've seen a few people talk about it.

Oh lord.....you weren't kidding about how ugly it is! LOL I turned it on and was like Ewwww!

It definitely has potential, but they need to get on this. Dark mode is not something new for apps.

Dark mode in both screens since day 1 and also the brightness to lowest setting esp at night, as even dark mode is too bright with mid level brightness

I think that the people who drive their Mach-E in light mode might actually be psychopaths. ?

Dark mode looks 10x cooler and is 100x easier on the eyes for sure.

Good thing I’m not a people. ??
