Most SC stations don't require sideways parking, but it is tight. Gotta pull within inches of the charger to reach if pulling straight in. They've removed most of the parking blocks and bollards on eligible stations, but some still have a full curb.Used a tesla charger today with my Mach E adapter. Charged it right up in 1hr. Had to park the car sideways for the cord to reach the car.
And more importantly, what it was when they unplugged. They're probably just not aware that it slows way down above 80%, where most people unplug when using a DCFC station (for that very reason). He didn't ask how much you charged, he asked what the state of charge was (i.e. %) when you started.
Never charge past 80% at a fast charger unless you need the juice. From 80 to 90% it's around 34kW speed. Above 90% it slows to 6kW. That is why it took you so long to charge. It was at 29% when I started and I turned if off at 99%
