We’ve road tripped around 40,000 miles combined in our Lightning and Mustang. That’s a LOT of DCFC sessions. I wouldn’t buy an extension like this even if it were $200. It’s not worth the safety issues, hassle, bulk, storage issues, and effort to remember to pack the thing in the right vehicle. To say nothing of the huge decrease in charge speed.

I see what you mean but where I've charged there's no extra parking spot like that, it's a spot for each charger. Thanks for explaining.

That's too bad, some of my Tesla spots have the option to come from the other side

Okay so the handicap available spot is your best spot in this lot

Spot to the left of the hashes is where the teslas back in

You'll be parked on the hashes like I do regularly.

I need to get a better picture, I actually come diagonal across the Tesla spot to the left of the hashes and only my front right wheel/nose is in the hashes

Unfortunately that only gives you one possible spot where you wouldn't take up two in this lot

Probably wont be a decrease for Mach E owners.

Personally I paid $200 whatever for an adapter…yeah I’d buy an extension cord.
It’ll go in that frunk that is sitting empty most the time.

Will get used all the time?
Nope.

But if I have pulled into stations enough times that are full enough a Mach E isn’t charging that it’s worth having in a kit.

I usually check the Tesla app on the way to see how many are charging there and if it's like two of eight I take a chance my spot is open. If it is four or five or more active charging the odds drop but there's two new V4 Tesla stations with long cables - one 10 minutes north and one 10 minutes south. But I have 2 chances out of 8 spots I can use solo, you've got 1 in 12?

Separate from the Tesla spots I've got a new favorite charging spot at a Ford dealer that only charges 30 cents kwh through Charge Point -unlike every other Ford dealer with Blink at 60 something cents.

They've got free Wi-Fi free coffee, clean restrooms etc. 😆 I guess that's intended for normal car buying or service customers. But I use it like a co-working space and get some work done while I charge

Looking at that cable, I'm betting that it's minimum bending radius will not permit that, and you wouldn't want to ruin that expensive item. At least it would be worth checking out the MBR before forcing it in.

That prototype looks like it would easily fit.
