tesla seems to have always been bad about stating range accurately.
Yes, but people don’t seem to care as long as the fake big numbers are displayed on the dash. If they displayed accurate numbers on the dash, people would start thinking the wrong battery was installed in their car.

No. It’s because the EPA has a new rule that forces automakers to use an average rating across all drive modes. Previously, they were allowed to use the number from whichever drive mode was most efficient.

It’s a step in the right direction, but they need to take the next step- get rid of the 5 cycle test option that allows for a more aggressive correction factor.

Each vehicle should be tested using the SAME criteria.
