"According to the agency’s filing, those include driving through a yellow light on the verge of turning red; not properly stopping at a stop sign; speeding, due to failing to detect a road sign or because the driver has set their car to default to a faster speed; and making unexpected lane changes to move out of turn-only lanes when going straight"

This applies to almost all BMW/Audi drivers. The human drivers should be recalled for a major brain software update. ;)

It's amazing 362,758 people have bought FSD.

Also I can't help but think that Super Bowl ad might have been a factor...
Probably quite a bit more after they made it a monthly subscription.

I think a lot is being overblown about this recall, especially since it’s just a software update that’s needed. They only issued a recall because they were required to

The recall is reportedly for an OTA software update, but given the severity, and persistence of serious problems with Tesla Full Self Crashing (FSC), that seems to be unlikely. Tesla has only recently admitted their refusal to use radar or lidar in their FSC system was a serious design flaw. Unclear how they plan to install either radar or lidar OTA.
