To be clear, the max L2 charging current for the MME is 48 Amps. The 60 Amp adapter is the safest way to go, but the car will never draw more than 48 Amps. IMO the 50 Amp adapter is sufficient.I went with the 60a version because that's what my wall connector is set for. We have a 6/3 line run on a 60a breaker to the connector then the 60a Tesla tap mini to connect it to my wife's MachE. It charges flawlessly.
