I use my TeslaTap Mini 60-amp adapter every day. That's because I have a Tesla Wall Charger in my garage that I installed when I owned a Tesla Model 3.

The charger works flawlessly with the TeslaTap Mini, which is very well engineered. Yes, the tolerances are tight but that gets somewhat better over time. And these days I leave the adapter on my Tesla Wall Charger anyway. My system is limited to 40 amps continuous because my garage is only wired for 50 amps maximum. But that's plenty to charge my cars overnight.

I've stopped recommending the Tesla Tap Mini because the tolerances are just too tight. I've had to stand on the charging cable at Tesla chargers to get enough leverage to disconnect it. I could live with that, but when I tried it on my wife's RAV4 Prime, the J1772 end was too tight and I couldn't get it to plug in fully. Then I spent 20 minutes trying to get it disconnected from the car. I've switched to the Lectron 48A adapter and haven't looked back. It's a little bigger, but still plenty small enough.

+1 for the Lectron over the TeslaTap.
