I know this has been discussed ALOT!! has anyone heard from Ford what it’s supposed to look like. I mean did an engineer really design this car with an 1/8” ledge that’s prone to wind noise and cracking. Just doesn’t make sense to me. I mean at highway speed it sounds like I have a window cracked open and though it hasn’t a opened my gut tells me at some point I’m going to have a rock or debris hit that lip and I’ll have an expensive piece of glass to repair. I can’t imagine this was designed to be this way.

I haven’t received my car yet but it’s been delivered to dealer.
I’m going to take delivery but I noticed in the pictures I’m probably having the same issue.
I want to follow this roof issue and hope it gets resolved for all of us.

On mine the passenger's side is about 3/16" lower than the drivers side. I pointed it out at the time of purchase and my dealer wrote it up as a manufacturer's defect and included a "We Owe" statement in my purchase that it was misaligned and that they would repair/replace it at any time while the car was under warranty (the first 36 months).

So just an FYI. I have a very noisy pano roof, I know this because I took my car in for a repair today when the door latch broke. They gave me another Mach E with a pano roof. It is completely silent. So hopefully they will address the bad batches. I keep eyeing this forum to see how Ford resolves the issue.

I tried putting on a self-adhesive rubber gasket like sealer made for windshields and it did help somewhat. The unfortunate was, however, at 45 mph the other day we heard loud flapping on the roof/windshield region and I knew right away that it had come loose and it did. I had to pull it all off. Seemed like a good idea but the adhesive used just wouldn't hold it on. I'm on the lookout for a different windshield sealing strip.

How much louder or quieter is the vehicle at speed, now with that strip removed compared to before with the strip in place?

I don't have a decibel meter and it is purely subjective but I can hear a difference (full disclosure - I wear hearing aids and that could be affecting how much difference I notice).
I just ordered another brand of windshield strip and we'll see if it lasts longer then 4 weeks.

I road tested one where the pano roof was almost 3/8” higher than the windshield edge. It was very noisy. The one I bought is almost flush, maybe 1/16” in the worst spot. Totally silent, even at 75 mph against a strong headwind.

Lucky you. When was yours built? Mine had a mid March build date and there is still uneven glass between windshield and panoramic roof in addition to gap. Not as bad as others I've seen but still there. When I'm not concentrating on it or playing the radio or streamed music, having normal voice conversations, etc., I never hear a thing. The car before the Mach E was a 2016 Ford Fusion and it had wind noise too. Our current 2015 Acura MDX has very little wind noise.

I may have put it on backwards in that the wrong edge was forward. I'm not sure if that could have done it. I don't think it was a bad batch but who knows. I'm going to prep the glass better next time by cleaning it thoroughly and then doing an alcohol wipe before placing adhesive. That's what I've always done when placing items to be stuck on the body surfaces and what they always include with the adhesive strip or part. I still think the real test will be winter.

Mine is a April build. There were 3 Premium Extended AWD available in my area and I bought the one with the best windshield to pano roof fit. So I ended up with a black one.

So even with an April build there was still a variation of roof to windshield fits. You would think they would get it down by now. Ford should place some kind of gasket in there to reduce any noise from uneven fit. To be fair, the wind noise is like I already described it and is usually not noticed.
