Based on the plant closure and poor comms, I went out and test drove a Tesla Model 3 last week. Zippier than a Mach-e Premium w/AWD, smaller battery (lower cost to charge) and longer range. Ground clearance is within a quarter inch between them. The only real differences spec-wise are the instrument panel, driver position, and cargo space.
So I placed an order...
