The shell recharge app is finally being decommissioned!

Yay! They are finally decommissioning the Shell Recharge App. You'll have to use The Shell App.

The Shell Recharge App was always terrible. I learned long ago to avoid using it, instead using the Ford App or Flo, which works with most Shell chargers, at least here in Canada. I kind of feel bad for them, though, because they had the *best* phone and email support. It's clear that it's a completely different team on The Shell App.

Any credit you have in the Shell Recharge App won't transfer — it will be returned to your credit card.

Ironic... I talked with someone just yesterday afternoon about a questiinable charge on my VISA statement, and nothing was said.
Do I uninstall the Shell Recharge app and install the Shell Charge app?

Yes, that is the text that I got from Shell. They said it would change in a few weeks.

Great support that I experienced.

"Your chargers here are offline".
"Yes, we know that. Is there anything else we can do for you today?"

They have shell chargers here near me and never could get them to work and the app was atrocious. Would only start charging then get a battery ground fault so quit trying.
