This Trip Mileage after remote start

I realized that after I remote start, my “this trip” mileage is already started and not 0

is this the“mileage” of battery that was used during the remote start?

it then skews the whole trip with added mileage.

it’s a minor thing but it bothers me that I don’t know what it’s counting. Curious everyone’s thoughts

Ford has for years allowed remote start to screw up data. Haven't tested it, but a simple power off, then on, would reset everything if in fact this trip is running.
