Touch Screen Angst

Hi,
My Mach E touch screen is driving me mad. I would like it to display the Navigation page on start up. It constantly displays anything but that page and I can find no information how to make it happen. It appears the screen is not configurable. Has anyone in Mach E land got a solution to my problem please?

No it doesn’t, it never has done and it also pisses me off that it doesn’t.

How old is Spamandchips? Must’ve had a childhood in the 60s & 70s.

Ford native navigation or Android Auto/Car Play navigation? My car connects to Android Auto and shows the map every time but Ford has a slow boot up time. I've kept the wired android active along with wireless and plug it in also to be sure

Mine does…..unless I shut off with the nav app on the screen. Not only is it not displayed, it’s not even minimized to a tile - I have to restart the app. I’m now in the habit of switching to the radio before shutting off.

When I get a moment I'll find out what version numbers for the maps and sat nav I'm on if it helps.

Well, I have done nothing to the setup, not had any updates etc but it has started working properly (until the next time). I am really disappointed that in the 21st Century this screen is not customisable by the vehicle owner. For example, the tabs at the bottom of the screen have no use unless you can decide which ones you want to display and where you would like them. My iPad Pro allows me to choose apps and place them on the screen, why not this screen too. Ford is so far out of date.
