Trouble turning Ford Assistant, Connected Navigation and other settings on

I remembered that the car is supposed to have access to radar/weather in the navigation app. I attempted to access it but the option is grayed out. The instructions mentioned making sure certain settings were turned on. I can't turn those settings on.

Any ideas what I might have done to disable those settings?

Oddly I noticed that Alexa used to be at the top of the display but Alexa is missing as well. Not sure if that is related at all.

I can't turn on any of the settings that are turned off.

If I try to slide them on, they slide but do not turn blue.

I got impatient and performed a master reset.

After activating my car again in Ford Pass and completing the setup process in Ford Pass and in the car again, the options are all turned on as they should have been before.

And now the radar works as it should. The reset also brought back Amazon Alexa and Ford Assistant as options to configure.

On a side note a master reset did not seem to truly reset the car to pristine condition. While it deleted both profiles, it did not delete phones from the bluetooth list. It also did not delete door entry codes as the PAAK process complained I was setting up a door entry code that was already set. I had to manually clear the code and all backup start codes before I could cleanly complete the PAAK process.

I am hopeful that Blue Cruise works as it should hands free tomorrow as I was having issues where it only worked in hands on mode. Perhaps because Connected Navigation was off and could not be turned on?

Looks like it will rain overnight.

Ford's interfaces with Ford Pass, etc are terrible. The menus are confusing and not intuitive at all. Random things turn on and off with updates that aren't clearly announced. It's really frustrating.

I have the same issue. Now on my second call with Ford. Last week I wasted 2 hours with no resolution. Numerous transfers and hang-ups. Got an email saying the issue was being escalated and been on hold now over one hour.
