Trunk water leak

Mach-e 2022, which I've owned for 6months seems to have an issue with water insulation on the trunk. I usually keep the MME in garage, now it was in rain for few days and after opening up the trunk, water is getting out from right side interior handle.

The dealer service declined to investigate the issue as 2y full warranty expiration and extended warranty does not cover body issues.

Anyone had similiar issue?

If they're going to be fixing your issue about water in the liftgate, ask them to check your 12v battery health too.

If you have a 22 model, it could be close to 3 years in age where you need to swap out the battery. Mention that you have 12v battery concerns and see if TSB 25-2058 might apply to your car too.

TSB 23-2360 fixes the tail-light intrusion. Mine had also the mustang logo leaking badly. Replaced at the dealer.
