I went on 3 separate ferries about a week ago and my alarm didn’t go off once. I left the car on and got out with the key, it locked and I didn’t have any issues. Granted, the second and third ferry I stayed in it with the car on because they were very short but the first was about a 2hr boat ride. I didn’t read thru the whole thread to see if you already tried that .. but hopefully it helps!

Hello Tannerk89, so sorry for the slow reply. 5th ferry trip and trying all sorts to stop the alarm going off (fuse 20 removed), so whether the actual alarm horn sounded or not I have no idea. Anyway the 5th 6 hour crossing the moment the ferry sailed I got a message to say the alarm triggered. Once docked in France and near the car, a 2nd alarm message appeared. A very definite bug in the ‘motion sensor off’ in Setting/Vehicle/Alarm System/motion Sensors OFF just doesn’t work (Ford I so hope you are reading this…IT IS A BUG, IT DOES NOT WORK!).

Tannerk89, sorry again, rumbling a bit there. I did try what you suggested…leave the car on, exit, lock. First time you try to lock the warning horn sounds twice, second time the car does lock, but full accessories are enabled which spells energy consumption over a 6 hour crossing.
Anyway that is now 5 x 6 hour ferry crossing completed, the alarm goes off the moment the ferry starts sailing, but there is no problem opening the car (12V battery is ok and kept charged by the drive batteries (good thinking Ford)),and the drive battery % remains the same as when parking on the ferry. So far, I have never been summoned to the car deck due to continuous Alarm Sounding ?

Thanks very much for your help.
