Unable to add mach e to Apple maps

I’ve been unable to add my mach e to Apple Maps since I bought the car about a year ago. I’m hoping someone can help. No matter what I do, I can’t get the “vehicles” option to show up within the Apple Maps menu after selecting my profile picture in the Ape Maps app. I had an issue where Ford sync techs had to reset PAAK on the server side for the app to prompt PAAK setup. I’m wondering if this is another server side error. I do receive distance and turn notifications in the gauge cluster screen when using Apple Maps, just no EV charge options or battery SoC estimates.

Different solutions I’ve taken:

• performed sync master resets.
• deleted/reinstalled Apple Maps.
• Connected CarPlay while on and accessory mode
• Wired and wireless CarPlay
• Restored phone
• Removed CarPlay and Bluetooth connections

Looks like Apple Maps is not recognizing that you are driving an EV. On my screen, I see “vehicles” between “reports” and “preferences”.

Just went through this whole hassle on my 21’ GTPE. It was behind on the APIM and TCU updates, despite getting OTA updates it never got that update.

I had Ford perform all possible software updates in August 24’ when I was having the PAAK issues.

I have several other known issues so I’ll be bringing it in for software updates (can’t enable lane centering and change options after BC 1.3 update, won’t charge if charge times are set, planned departure times climate control inoperable).

I came across this lane centering TSB regarding BC lane centering issues. I’ll update the post if the updates fix the Apple Maps issue too.
