Anyone know why the ford website can simultaneously show that I’ve installed the recall successfully on my software update history while also saying I have to install it under Actions?
If this hasn't been explained already, it takes several weeks after a software update is applied before it is marked as completed in Ford's database of recalls. It is not instant.

I see. Kinda dumb though. They clearly know I did it on one screen but don’t know it on the other? If every update has a unique id they just have to match it.

I have the same issue where it gives me a “battery too low” error.

I had 79% SOC on the HVB and it was failing, so I figured it was the LVB (original from 2022).
I lifted the panels and connected my AGM charger and charged up the LVB to 98%- still failed.
Charged the HVB to 90% and it failed again.
Let it try overnight- and it failed.
Now it won’t let me manually try. It still says it is there on the screen, but it is gone from the Ford app.
I assume that they recalled it as noted in the thread.

I left the car on for 6+ hours,
the HVB was charged to 100%.
The car was unplugged. A
ll accessories turned off.
12v @ 94%

I've NEVER had an OTA Update fail. This one is on FORD in my opinion

I agree with you. I have not had anything like this happen for any other OTA either.

I had this error 3 consecutive times and it ultimately installed the 4th time. I don't have charging at home so I didn't plug it in. 1st trial was at 70% and the second was around 67% if I remember correctly. I gave up worrying after the 2nd failed attempt 😂. The install happened around 50%. App and website still shows active recall, recall incomplete 🤷

If you've already followed all of Mach-Lee's steps in post #6, but the problem persists, perform a BMS reset.

If you absolutely must do this, assume the 12V battery is dead and replace it (not urgently, but as soon as possible).

Press the START button without pressing the brake to enter ACCESSORY mode. NOTE: Perform the following steps within the next 10 seconds:
Activate the high beams 5 times using the lever, then press the brake pedal 3 times.

The battery symbol on the instrument cluster should flash 3 times, then turn off the car and open the driver's door.

If the battery symbol doesn't flash, you may have performed steps 2 and 3 too quickly or too slowly. Try again with a one-second interval.

Charged the car up to 90% L2 yesterday.
My car tried to install the update last night. But I got this message below.
I tried the 2 hr method with the Blower running Battery measured 15V in car while it was charging but that failed to work when manually running the update, Tried letting it run another hour but same results . Never had an OTA fail up till now.
Mach-Lee you can add to turn off wipers during boost charge methods. My car was outside and noticed the wipers were running so I turned them off.

mine failed three times over three consecutive days (twice due to low battery but no idea why on the third) and now just says Ford will update the software soon, not even giving me the option for another try.

23.5 select (LFP). It's been attempting the update daily since Monday, fails with the update interrupted due to low battery message. Ford told me battery was at 68%. I tried charging it with the blower method then manually attempted the update but still failed. I may take it to the dealer to have them check it.

Yesterday I charged HVB to 100%, Drove for 1.5 hrs charged back up to 90% then started the update still failed. 2023 Premium LFP.

Ford said my 12V level went up to 69% and to keep driving it and the update would be available in December too.

Yes…if you have one. 13.6V for 6+ hours. Remember to connect the negative to body ground.
Yea, I attach the power supply at these 2 locations.

Update, after several failed attempts I connected my level 1 charger and charged for about 9 hours and was able to run the installation successfully.
