Drove the car Friday, then Monday. Battery was at 73% Weds, 67% yesterday morning via the portal view. An update occurred sometime yesterday "improvements to diagnostic capabilities".

Got low battery warning when I woke up this morning (sent at 3:50AM), battery is at 43%... All we did yesterday was pull the car out of the garage, and put it back in. It dropped ~20 points due to the update?

So let's check the truck, which got the same update. It went from 71% yesterday morning to 59% after the update.

20 points of a 91kWh battery is 18kW.
12 points of a 131kWh battery is 16kW.

Seems the update takes a 16 - 18kW hit of the battery?

which battery is low?
I am assuming its the 12v battery, which is tiny, so 15%-20% is not surprising. You might want to turn vehicles ON for a while, or plug in so that the main battery can recharge the 12v.

So still reading 43, as is the truck. Suspicious. I hooked up the Battery Tender and it was done in under 90 minutes. Reads 87% with CarScanner, and still 43% with the interface, so I think they locked the access...

How are you checking the LVB SOC? I have one of those 12v cigarette lighter plug testers but I'm not sure if I'm getting a correct reading. Does the car need to be in accessory mode to use it?
I keep getting the "Plug in to maintain 12v Battery" messages and it makes me nervous. I do have a dash cam that is wired into the rearview mirror power - but I didn't think that would matter. Thanks for any advice.
