Unknown warning symbol appearing on dash

As per title. The symbol will flash up at random and stay on sometimes for a minute or two sometimes just a few seconds.

It appears to the left of the temperature, bottom left corner. Car is a My 23 Premium AWD extended range running latest software drop.

What does it mean as i cant find that symbol in the manual

I am pretty sure that means lane keeping assist is off because it can't properly detect the lane markings.

That’s what I suspected however the normal bars down the picture of the car were detecting lines going green and also turning amber if i strayed to near each side, the car was also as correcting my steering still.

Not saying it isn’t that but lane keeping assist was 100% still working

There are a bunch of trouble-shooting ideas in the manual. Page 265 for the 2022 version. If you're taking it in, mention it to the service rep.

Glare could certainly do it. Bugs covering the radar might; bugs covering the camera would. Several possibilities.

Strange as I didn’t receive an actual error message on the dash, just the tiny little warning symbol.

The car is pretty clean at the moment so i doubt its dirt but will give the camera a clean tomorrow. Hopefully it was glare as the sun was also pretty low.

I've had the warning when driving into a low sun. But I got a warning on the cluster as well as the symbol you shared.

Is your front camera working while this symbol is present?

My front camera only comes on when i am parking at it detects something very close. I find the front camera a bit pointless. I can’t find an option to activate it manually either, if there is one?

I've had the warning when driving into a low sun. But I got a warning on the cluster as well as the symbol you shared.

Definitely no error message and the symbol flicked on an off a good few time and for a decent period so I would have expected to see the message you refer to.

I will give it a few more drives and see if it happns again, anything to avoid a trip to the dealer

I misunderstood your previous post and thought you were already going to the dealer. Personally I also do anything to avoid a trip to the dealer.

I would monitor it over the next few days and try to understand when the warning light is on and when it's off. If it's on all the time, then it might be time to get a diagnosis.

Are you sure it's a 23.5? I haven't seen any reports of 2023.5 cars being delivered yet. What's the build date?
