My wife's MME has just started displaying a symbol below the main battery/range indicator. It's a line that ends in a checkered flag and 5 mi. My guess is that's it's trying to indicate the distance to a charger, but I have no idea why it suddenly started showing up. Any idea of what it is, and what I need to reset to get rid of it?

I thought that might be it too and tried cancelling nav with a voice command and it told me there was no route set. I'll have to experiment more when she gets home and I have access to the car.

If there isn't a current route, put in a random one and then cancel it.

Yesterday after work there was a destination set in the Ford Nav when I started the car after work. The destination was my house. I just cancelled the route (red x) and it went away.

I haven't opened or touched the Ford Navigation system in months. I always just use android auto.

Kinda weird someone else gets a random pop-up from the Ford Nav around the same time.

I've been having that issue now and again. I turn on the call, Ford Nav has a destination set, sometimes its my house, sometimes its a random spot.

Prior to turning the car off, I never went into Ford Nav. I end up having to go in there and cancel the route.

This is the "navigation to nowhere" bug. It pops up very sporadically. You have to set a route and then cancel it to clear the flag. It's a weird one.

This has happened to me before. I never use Ford Nav. I don't think I ever even have. But now and again I get the flag and have no navigation pointed anyplace.

Yep, that was it. Drove a couple of miles and then set a route back to home and cancelled it. That fixed it. Thanks for the advice. I don’t remember seeing the indicator previously, even though the built in nav is all I ever use

Could you please provide a photo, that would help immensely.

That happened to me a few times previously. I also wasn’t using the ford nav app. That was months ago. It seemed to pop up several times over a few week period and eventually stopped. I think I had to go in and add a destination and delete and it never happened again.

Follow the route see where it leads
