I submitted a photo of me alongside my Mach E to the Chicago Dental Society local branch news because they want members to contribute any news that they may have. After I submitted the photo to my Branch Correspondent I received an e-mail back from him urging me to start attending the branch meetings again as the attendance apparently hasn't been good. I've been retired for years and have not attended these meetings and I responded that I really wasn't interested in starting that again as I went for years when I practiced and that portion of my life ended when I retired. Not to be deterred I received yet another e-mail from the Branch Correspondent telling me that he was very interested in my new Mustang Mach E and he was sure other members of the dental membership of the Chicago Dental Society would be too and would I consider coming to the meeting and showing my car to the members present that night. He felt if he advertised that a Mustang Mach E was going to be shown they might attract more members to attend the meeting. I laughed to myself at the lengths he went to get me to attend but I did agree to go and to show the car that night. So on the evening of October 19th I will be taking Illinipony to the South Suburban Branch of the CDS at a golf course showing him before the dinner meeting to any members interested in seeing my car. I don't really know how much interest there will be but I agreed to do it just to placate him. I've been retired since 2013 and who knows, I may see former students who are now practicing dentists and/or former referring dentists to my specialty practice. I never thought I'd be showing my car to this group of people but there is a lot of interest in Ford's new Mustang so we'll see what happens at the meeting in October.
