Update BC-25.DC?

A friend of mine just got an Update BC-25.DC for his 22 Job 1 Mach-E RWD ER.

Shall be for future BC-Updates? Has anybody got the same and can tell me more about it.

Hello,

I had also the BC-25.DC update.

It was followed by the Prioritaire update SYNC-24.2.1.6.2

However I'm not able to activate the Blue Cruise subscription. Maybe it will come the next days.

BlueCruise 1.1E is beschikbaar (voertuigen met optionele Tech Pack of Tech Pack+)

In landen met goedkeuring door de regelgevende instanties kunt u nu BlueCruise gebruiken. We houden u via e-mail op de hoogte van de goedkeuring in uw land.

BlueCruise is onze recentste innovatie in geavanceerde technologie voor bestuurdersassistentie en kan worden gebruikt op vooraf gekwalificeerde wegdelen met verschillende rijstroken, zogenaamde BlueZones. Om BlueCruise te gebruiken, dient u uw gratis proefperiode van 90 dagen te activeren. Hiervoor gaat u naar het deel Abonnementen in de FordPass-app of uw online Ford-account. Als BlueCruise niet is goedgekeurd in uw land, ziet u de optie voor een gratis proefperiode niet.

Adaptive Cruise Control update (alle voertuigen)

De schuifregelaar voor Snelheidsbordherkenning heeft de nieuwe naam Predictive Speed Assist gekregen. De functie van deze schuifregelaar blijft ongewijzigd.

Software-updates zijn ontworpen om uw voertuig steeds beter te maken.

*Beschikbaar in specifieke markten voor Mustang Mach-E-modellen. De ogen van de bestuurder moeten steeds op de weg voor zich gericht blijven om handsfree te rijden via BlueCruise. Dit is geen vervanging voor veilig rijden.

May I ask what the outcome of the change was in a nutshell?
I got this update yesterday as well. But acc. to the as-built data I pulled afterwards it was only about some config bytes updates.

@elmedico27 Seems like this is for vehicles in other regions. Translated release notes read:

BlueCruise 1.1E is available (vehicles with optional Tech Pack or Tech Pack+)

In countries with regulatory approval, you can now use BlueCruise. We will keep you updated via email on approval in your country.

BlueCruise is our latest innovation in advanced driver assistance technology and can be used on pre-qualified lane-based roads called BlueZones. To use BlueCruise, you must activate your free 90-day trial. To do so, go to the Subscriptions section of the FordPass app or your online Ford account. If BlueCruise is not approved in your country, you will not see the free trial option.

Adaptive Cruise Control update (all vehicles)

The slider for Speed Sign Recognition has been renamed Predictive Speed Assist. The function of this slider remains unchanged.

Software updates are designed to continually improve your vehicle.

*Available in specific markets for Mustang Mach-E models. The driver must always keep their eyes on the road ahead to drive hands-free with BlueCruise. This is not a substitute for safe driving.

No idea. I do not have the VIN of a vehicle that has gotten it yet to check.

@jmgreen Ok, so it seems this is a this indeed a config only update. Details say it is wifi only. It seems like it enables some config in the PSCM to maybe allow BC to work where available? These updates don't show what they change exactly, but if have record of your PSCM ab data before and after the update, you can check to see what changed.

It seems like running a VIN outside of the US in PTS is still safe. I was way to curious to not check. lol

Just got it on my UK 2021 J1

I was ahead on FDRS of the bluecruise updates and couldn’t enable it, so it’s maybe the retro change to allow us onto bluecruise?

Should be part of it. Unless things are going to work differently over there, until you see an option for BC pop up in your Fordpass account under connected services, there may be more required to it than just this.
