2023 GT. According to my app the last successful update 6.14.0
Strange thing is on the Ford Pass it says vehicle in good health and all updates installed. Then when you get in car it starts to load and then screen message comes on to Tow car to dealer.

It’s probably saying that because the TCU can’t communicate with the servers while it’s inhibited.

Yeah, just call the number and get the tow, don’t mess with it. You’ll get priority treatment.

Unless you drive a 2021. Then you get put on the Ford "Soon" list. It might get towed in 18 months.

I agree the best solution would be for the dealer to send a mobile mechanic with FDRS to deinhibit the car and re-apply the failed software update.

Yeah, that'd be a good approach on the part of the dealership.

Well now it has been scheduled to be picked up on Saturday noon, giving me time to run and get a rental so I don’t run thru same issue as today.
Lets keep our fingers crossed that the new tow company arrives with a flat bed and can get the car out of the garage which is not a flat driveway

Can you tell which update failed? My 23GT had so many updates in the last couple months. My last one was to allow a more dependable update experience. ECG-24.2.5.6.2

Random question: who is paying for your rental? You or Ford?

Ford Roadway Assistance told me to keep receipts, They told me Ford would reimburse a certain daily amount, believe it was 50-60 per day.

Update. So far the dealership has been very attentive and are sending a mobile unit to house tomorrow to fix the issue. Will post how it goes, keeping fingers crossed.

Final Update.
dealer sent mobile unit to house on Tuesday. Got the car started by having car software go back to prior to failed software. They drove car to dealer and successfully uploaded the software. Today Thursday I got the car back.
glad to have Mach Elroy back.
Great attention from Ford and my dealer.
