Just to pile on, my 2002 Trans Am- same thing. My 04 Grand Prix GTP was the same way
Total with GA Tax $228.80 and after washing the car twice the rotors do not rust! Great improvement.Approximate price?
They went back and forth and supplied the correct rotors for the GTPE but they are not drilled just flat but work great and do not rust with the coating on them.I would double-check those parts. The GT and GTPE have different size rotors.
The only rotor I have seen besides the motorcraft part is Raybestos Element 3. Hopefully, those DF are correct I won't buy drilled or slotted rotors for cars that did not come that way stock. When you reduce the friction area you reduce the stopping power.

I ordered them from https://www.buybrakes.com/2022-ford-mustang-mach-e/brake-rotors They could not supply the Drilled and Slotted but could do the coating on plain rotors. The photos are after washing the car and no rust!. I have just over 800 miles on them. The measured exactly the same as the OEM and pads were identical even the hardware kit.Can you upload some pics and where did you order them?!
The coating will eventually be worn through, whereupon the rotors will rust again. ?I ordered them from https://www.buybrakes.com/2022-ford-mustang-mach-e/brake-rotors They could not supply the Drilled and Slotted but could do the coating on plain rotors. I am hopeful it is like the treatment a Glock gets and will not rust. You can take a Glock Barrel or slide and polish it and it will still not rust. Yes the Stopping is I would say better then new.The coating will eventually be worn through, whereupon the rotors will rust again. ??
Good to hear that you took care of the warpage problem. ??
Interesting about the coating. Looks like a pretty cool website. I’d love to hear how they hold up with rain and wear. Seems like their prices are good too.I am hopeful it is like the treatment a Glock gets and will not rust. You can take a Glock Barrel or slide and polish it and it will still not rust. I can't speak to the rotors he bought but I have put those raybestos element 3 coated rotors on a few of my previous vehicles. Here in Minnesota they protect from the elements for about 3/4 years depending on how many miles you drive. They are a bargain if you get them from rock auto just under $62 each rotorThe coating will eventually be worn through, whereupon the rotors will rust again. ??

My GTPE has almost 13k miles and the front rotors are warped to hell. I always used 1 pedal driving. My one pedal stopped working due to a faulty wheel speed sensor so I had to use the regular brakes. The wheel pulses so bad when braking. Is there any upgraded rotors from anywhere yet for these?

Nope. Bullcrap. I traded it with 36,000 miles. Had three sets in that time. I got a 2024 GT now and same shit. Need new ones in 2,000 miles already.never used one pedal in this one and it still does it. I’m so over it.Did you ever get any answerers. on your car? I went through 3 sets of rotors in 2 months and now are just dealling with warped rotors... they claim driving habbits but i have never had this issues with any other car.... I am lookin into stronger rotors but im convided the one pedal drive system or the brakes are causing the issue...
I know how brakes work. I’ve driven many cars with smaller brakes that don’t warp this bad. It’s insane. It’s been nothing but ice since I’ve gotten mine. Absolutely no hard braking whatsoever. Shouldn’t need new rotors every few thousand miles. Even my dealer says it’s garbage. They have had a few brought it for this same reason. Shitty enough that ford even agrees to buy them back with this issue. So no, it’s not my driving style in this case. Furthermore, the GT is literally a Ford performance vehicle, the seats even state that. This car is not to be driven like a grandmas whip. The fact that you just said this is not a sport car is hilarious. So not sure why you are coming up with excuses as to why they have subpar brakes…. This is a performance vehicle, if it wasn’t, they wouldn’t offer things like PERFORMANCE UPGRADE or BREMBO in the first place…The car weights 5000 lbs. If you drive it like a 911, it's going to warp the rotors. 100-0 one time will overheat the brakes. A single hard track lap can even overheat the brakes. Keep that in mind or you will have to replace them often. It's not a sports car.
