All the investment required to be le$$ dependent on high priced grid energy IS co$t. (solar, betteries, etc)

I'm not saying that the investment doesn't have a positive ROI, but only a small fraction of the population has the investment capital to invest.

And it doesn't matter who is currently at the helm. (white house, for example) Today's plight was determined by predecessors that span much further than 4 year increments. Not to mention that consumer preferences aren't that easy to legislate anyway.

No law passed was the determining factor on when/if I personally chose to become an EV consumer. For me personally it was intrigue and automotive passion almost completely. Nothing political or virtuous about it.

I can't be the only one that got here this route. ?

Even as a long time motorhead, I guess I'm going to have to respectfully completely disagree, so you have had the last word on this topic as far as I'm concerned.

Florida Power and Light (FPL) is charging $0.30 at all of their charging stations here in Florida. I wish the power providers in other states would follow their lead and charge a reasonable price for the electricity that they themselves produce and manage.
