Looks fine. The Ford app reports the power going into the battery, not what is drawn from the wall.
Thanks. It finished successfully and I didn't encounter the 100% charging issue (probably because I didn't have a location/charge profile set up prior to the update that caused an issue).

I did notice some small discrepancies between the Fordpass app and the Tesla app. One major one being the length of charge. It seems the Tesla app is counting the time actually charging and Fordpass app is counting the time plugged in.

Strangely, Fordpass is saying I added more energy than the Tesla app.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. We''re picking up the car in 2 days and have their tech woman scheduled for an orientation. I'll wait until then and see exactly what comes with the car and then decide on ordering an adaptor.

My point was Lectron is a bad product and should be avoided. I wish someone would have told me before I wasted my money. Even Lectron adapter plugs are having problems.

YMMV. I have had a Lectron 48A Tesla to J1772 adapter for 2 years. Since I have a Tesla Wall Connector, I have used it regularly with my previous Rivian R1T and now on our current Equinox EV and Mach-E without issue.

There are some Tesla Destination to J1772 adapters that are not made for cars that draw as much as ours (I don’t know why, ours don’t draw that much). Make sure you get one rated for at least 48A and you should be fine. A2Z, Lectron, and TeslaTap all make something that will work. ??

The only car may, or may not, come with the Ford Mobile Charger, depending on how it was ordered. No adapters come with the vehicle.

You can then order the Ford adapter. Estimated delivery date with be November. June dates moved to July, then August, as June shipments filled April and May orders. There were no July shipments, all pending July and August orders, including those moved June orders, now say September. Will they catch up? I am sure even Ford doesn't know.

If you are going to travel, a Tesla SuperCharger adapter opens up 15,300 additional chargers. It is a game changer.
