Vanishing Buttons - Black Screen - Rotating Issues

So, our Mach-e is in the shop for the third time chasing main screen console issues. We are up to date on our software installs and live a little rural so I’m not sure we have the best tech at our dealer.

We have had:

* screen going black while driving
* screen constantly gets too hot and won’t turn on if the sun shines on it
* Main audio button disappears for days
* Some days car play connects - some days it won’t.

I have seen random em mentions for the first one, but couldn’t find anything in the threads for the others. It’s ver frustrating and all we get from the dealer is “whelp, we will have to replicate it.” Good luck with that…

any ideas or service bulletins we could share with them?

love the car, but this is super frustrating.

I’ll take it to Walnut Creek if I have to - but it’s a pain in the butt. So is Sac from where we are.

Ask the dealer to check SSM 50994 as it may be exactly describing your first two symptoms.

OP, bring your car into your dealer and mention this SSM by number. You need a new screen.
