Vegas Mach-E Cab!

Just got back from Vegas. Also saw a Mach-e cab (different scheme). Should've taken a photo.

I was in Amsterdam in March and again last week and seems like most cabs are either Tesla's or Mach-E's. Coming out of the airport we stood in the cab line for a bit and were impressed by all the EV cabs in line.. When ours pulled up it, was a black Mach-E (they all seem to be black) and the driver got out to start loading our bags in the rear. Myself and two friends quickly got in the car and the driver was shocked. First thing he asked us was how did we get in so quickly? He said no one can seem to figure out how to open the doors. I told him I own one and my friends were familiar with my car. He was very impressed. ?

He said when he goes to work to pick up a car, his company has about 45 EV's to choose from and he always tries to pick the Mach-E if available because he likes the way they drive the best. He was one of those very spirited cab drivers and I could tell he really did enjoy driving it.

Not sure. We always rent a car in Vegas. Although, I took my second ever Uber/Lyft last week. Never again. The first Uber up in Seattle last year got lost on our way to the cruise port, and the gal in Anaheim last week couldn’t follow a navigation map to save her life (several wrong turns, last minute lane changes, missing exits, etc.). They were both super nice people, but not worth the wait and frustration. I’ll stick to cabs. At least they know where they’re going!

Yeah, not really planning on leaving the strip except to Area 15, so paying for a car doesn't make much sense, especially since the hotel has crazy parking fees too.

We avoid the strip at all costs! ? We stay and play in the old downtown Vegas. Free parking, not crowded, nice hotels and casinos! And we do drive around the rest of Vegas while we’re here to check out surrounding sites, etc.

We'll be at the Aria so I guess technically not on the strip, but strip adjacent, I haven't been to LV before surprisingly, so gotta do a one and done for the strip stuff
