Vehicle has arrived in default

When I get to a destination I receive a message that says my "MME has arrived in default. You may want to plug it in".
Anybody have any idea what this means? To date I have ignored this and have no issurs.

Did you set your home as a destination in the GPS, or set up a charging schedule for home?

I've had this happen a few times when I'm out somewhere. It will say "MME has arrived at unknown. you may want to plug in"

I don't usually get it at home because I plug in as soon as I get home. I think its just a reminder that you didn't plug in.

I don't always plug in (a few times a week) and I have a ChargePoint charger tied to my electric carrier. When I do plug in it doesn't start until 11 pm (off peak). I just got this same message when I arrived somewhere other than home. Strange.

I got the message at a restraunt the other day. But I stopped at a few places yesterday and didn't get it once. Not sure what the criteria is that makes it pop up. Probably another bug in their software. lol

Mine has been giving me that notification multiple times for the last 2 days - it REALLY doesn't like being parked without being plugged in, I guess.

My guess would be that "default" may mean the car questions SOC adequacy to return (or get to your nav destination) without supplemental charging.

I had this issue too. It says "Default" because you haven't named the charging location. I believe you have to do this in the settings on the vehicle, but you might be able to in the FordPass app.

I finally stumbled on how to save coordinates. How do I name the location? Cannot find anything anywhere in the manual, online, or in this forum! Can't I name one location "Home" and another one "Work"? Seems pretty basic for a Nav system going back almost 20 years....

If you have not saved a sight to charge at? The slide switch that is not there, you have to pretend it is there and swipe it anyway. Good luck. L

To change the name, tap Vehicle Icon on top left>Settings>Charge, then tap the pencil icon next to "Charge scheduling." On the next screen, tap the pencil icon next to the location (I think it will be called Default or be blank if it's not named.) You can also turn off plug in notifications in the FordPass app if you don't want the messages. Manage EV>Notification Settings>Manage Individual Notifications
