Are you talking about FordPass saying "Updated XX hours ago"? Or the message that says "You're seeing the last details your vehicle told us before it went to sleep"?

I have a feeling some people may think the regular sleep is deep sleep.
Yes, that is the message I see on my Ford Pass. So that is NOT a deep sleep then; correct? I didn't know there was a difference in the sleep messages ("regular" sleep or deep sleep).

That's normal. The car will still take commands but unless it's plugged in and charging it will normally stop reporting back to Ford the status of the vehicle because it's remained unchanged. There's no reason to drain the battery when nothing has changed.

The LVB is maintained when plugged into at least L2 charger. @louibluey is the expert on this
Boy, now I'm really confused. I have kept my car plugged in thinking the LVB would be charged/maintained but now one person says "no" and the other "yes."

You can see the voltage is 14 or 15 when plugged in, that’s charging voltage

I'm not sure my battery meter goes up to 14 or 15 when plugged in. I'll check it again but it usually is at 12.6 or a little higher (but not 14 or 15 volts) and then it sometimes drops from there

The LVB is maintained plugged and unplugged. Ford does recommend keeping your car plugged in so you are doing the right thing. But even if you left it unplugged the LVB will be maintained, as long as your software modules are up to date.

Based on the OP this sounds normal and my car does the same thing. So unless there is some problem other than FP not updating, I don't think there is anything to investigate.
That is a problem though. My Bronco, for instance will update anytime I ask it to even if it's been parked overnight or a day or two. I've had my Bronco go into deep sleep after 14 days, but was able to get a current status update any of the days prior.

Interesting, I couldn't find anything mentioning this in the service manual. @louibluey could you you point me to some documentation on this?
He has very informative threads on this forum that are worth looking at. Sometimes you can see in FordPass it will tell you it is charging the 12v too. I’ve never seen that message though, others on here have.

I stand corrected, it is indeed in the service manual:

"When the 12 volt battery's voltage is low the high voltage battery transfers the energy to charge the 12 volt battery when the vehicle is off "

Maybe but the Bronco isn't a BEV. Mine has always acted like the OP described and I think it is normal. The LVB in the MME is much smaller than what used in the Bronco, or any other ICE vehicle, so comparing the two isn't appropriate.

I have confirmed this works when my car is unplugged.

Technically the battery is always maintained. If it drops below 12.3v while not in operation it will maintain it. When the vehicle is charging it does maintain it. When the vehicle is in motion it maintains it. It's not always maintaining it at 14/15v during the entire charge. It's always at the start but once the LVB is full it will stop.

Here's what it looks like.

The FP system is largely the same and operates on the same principles. My understanding of the post is that FP was not responsive after an hour for the OP as the vehicle is going to deep sleep, which would point to a LV problem.

I ran into Deep Sleep messages after a couple days of being unplugged and not driving, but I found out for some reason when the welcome lights came on the sync screen backlight would stay on all night. I ended up turning off welcome lights and that seemed to fix it. It’s cause the car senses my phone through the walls of the house, when I’m at my desk or in the living room.
