Yes there is a surcharge for “Highway tax recover” plus an idiot fee for expanding level 2 charging stations along the highways. $75
I'm pretty sure the $75 electrification fee is what funds ZEVIP from the EV Account created by the legislature back in 2019. This fee is paid regardless if you drive a MME or a ten year old regular hybrid Prius. The 2023-25 budget has $30 million in state charging infrastructure programs through the end of next year. The 2021-23 budget had $10 million and we're seeing those stations in the ground now, but they suck (EVCS is such garbage, I don't know why WSDOT keeps giving them money).

Level 2s would be OK in isolated areas of the state, but only if you would ensure it would be available via a reservation.
Don’t get me started. There is a VOLTA at an Amazon Fresh. Every time I go it’s the same two Teslas using the charger and said “FULLY CHARGED”.

Sounds like employees. Are they free or low rate?

Couple of choices here. Ask the Teslaas if they could possibly move after charging. Contact the charge station owner and ask if they could institute a parking fee. Or research to determine if the station was installed for the Apartments.

A small hourly charge, say $2 after the first, and $5 an hour after the second or third hour would definitely solve the problem.

Next to Tapped and Akane Ramen (YUM)? Yeah I was betting on one of those chargers being open I was really low so I had to drop the family off and go to the Walmart along i5 to do a quick charge. Everytime I'm in that area there is a Tesla using them. I'v seen people park there and then go into the UPS store for 5-10 minutes and then come out and leave.
