Hi I think this might have been discussed but couldn’t quite find it.

Unexpectedly I had a change in my work location and my weekly commute is going to be dramatically reduced from around 200 miles a week to less than 60. It’s a suburban non-freeway drive.

This is a good development but do I need to be concerned about driving my MME enough to keep the 12v battery adequately charged?

I do extra driving on weekends but not always the same amount.

Unlike an ICE car which will only charge the 12V battery when the engine is running your MME will keep the battery at a suitable charge state even when the car is "off". My commute to work is about the same as your new one and so far I haven't had any issues in the 2 and a bit years of ownership.

That’s about my average miles per week I put on my Lightning. Never had a problem.
