Weird question I got yesterday

Pulled up to our Panda Express (what? I like the orange chicken) and some guy gets out of his Honda Civic R and asks me if my car is my first Mustang. I say “yeah”..

and then he says “it’s pretty interesting you picked the EV as your first Mustang”…. I just walked away. Probably the first weird encounter I’ve had, he definitely seemed triggered about it.

I should have said,“well, I was looking for an EV and this just happened to be a Mustang”

anyone else had weird questions like this?

I am just tired of people flipping me off or yelling at me or complainig why ford chose the name. I was in the market for an ev and it happened that I like the mach e and that it was available.

I live in the same county has him and I haven't had anyone do anything like that. I'm missing out on all the fun. I love blowing kisses to people who flip me off. The reactions are priceless.

Not yet, but is only a matter of time I suspect. I see lots of ICE GTs and even a Steeda Mach 1 (a speeding ticket magnet if I ever saw one) where I golf.

I'll probably just say they could have called it a Cougar (remember them) as far as I'm concerned.

So far have only received positive comments from strangers that want to talk, including a lady in a Civic that yelled "thats a nice car" as she drove by. Freaked me out a little.

I have been treated to the full throttle reaction from track car Mustangs that see me on the road.

Had a young-ish looking kid in an ICE Mustang pull up next to me on the highway and start honking to get my attention and then flipped me off with some weird scowl on his face.

I legit forgot that people took the Mach E "not a Mustang" thing that seriously and gave him a confused "huh?" before he sped off. I started double guessing myself like shit did I cut someone off or something? Only afterwards did I remember...
