So your Stop Safely Now message popped up AFTER the 20k service but BEFORE the 21P22 update?

I hope they connected the LVB maintainer when they performed the software update. If so, and it loaded successfully and then you got that same message later. Then have them run a Full Self Test and hopefully all comes back green.

That ought to do the trick.
Yes, after tire rotation but before update.

I don't know if they connected anything to the LVB, I would think they know to do that but ?‍♂

Not sure if anybody has said this yet but...

Sell that thing while the getting is good. Go get you a different Mach-E. A car that is new that has gone through that many issues. I would be nervous.

Maybe I am overreacting though. Like you, my MachE hasn't given me any issues aside from a few software glitches which I expected to have so, maybe it's not all that bad.

As a bonus car is now in Deep Sleep Mode. Never done that before either. LOL
I'm pretty sure this is something known to happen with a bad 12v battery

I heard if it is a HvB issue -- they just replace the bad cells... not the whole pack. Designed as sections to avoid the entire pack being replaced at $25K.

I've gotten that message in FordPass when unplugged and time has passed like 2 days since driving. "Deep sleep" . Self-preservation as the 12v must not get charged when not plugged in and not on.

I reached out to the service guy yesterday morning and was told it was no problem taking the rental on my trip. Even if my car was finished before I returned they were cool with it. So, that was good to hear and I did drive the Camry to Chicago and made it on 1 tank of gas. Not as painful as it could have been.

No word on the car, still diagnosing the issue. I gently mentioned needing to be on a charger for updates and they are aware and do that. It's worth mentioning again that the first Stop message occurred before the update was applied, then it happened after as well.

Tech did not try and tell me a new HVB was necessary. It came up in our conversation while talking about expensive parts. He was not trying to scare me or imply anything.

As far as the selling dealer not disclosing repairs.................I get it and I'm not butt hurt about it. I just thought maybe as a courtesy they could have said, oh by the way this happened... No big deal

Thanks for the concern. It's just my turn in the barrel

Back home but the only update I have is that the Camry suffered a flat R front tire and I am now in a Mini Cooper Countryman.

Gonna call about SallE first thing in the morning.

Called service and got an update.............

Tech got on the hot line and was able to clear a boat load of error messages..then made it almost around the building before the STOP message popped back up. A couple of control modules are on order, may need them, may not but figured better safe than sorry. Service writer did not know what they were.

Plan now is to drop the HVB and check all the connectors and wiring and/or replace any bad battery modules if they find them.

It's progress............not exactly what I want, but progress

@TRP sorry you are having issues. Keep us posted! Did you get screwed out of the $7500 tax credit too? Mine was also a dealer demo. I thought that since it was a demo it wasn't titled, therefore when I titled for the first time I could get the tax credit. I am not sure how the dealership can get the tax credit but I guess they did. Didn't get the Ford Pass points either. O well I am still happy I have it.

If the demo was titled by the dealer, Ford was giving a $7500 allowance to make up for the loss of tax credit. Are you saying that your dealer kept both?

Seems that way. I asked the manager again if I could apply for the credit, everything I read said I could as long as they didn't. They said no it was already used. I am not sure they understood either. I wish there was a way you could put in the vin and see if it was applied for.

Does your title say the car is new or used?
