Well it happened. Stop Vehicle Now while charging

Just took delivery of my Mach-e premium in May after 8 months of waiting.

Was charging at an EA station for 10 minutes when I got a notification to Stop the vehicle followed by a charging fault.

Unplugged the vehicle and let it sit for about 10 mins got out of it and tried to start it again.

Same messages with the 12v battery warning light illuminated, a turtle symbol and the car with an exclamation point through it illuminated on the dash.

2750 ish miles. I had a 21 Bronco drop a valve at 3150 miles. Guess I just have bad luck with new Ford vehicles with around 3k on the clock.

Do you have a pic of the dash message? I thought it was either Stop safely now (SSN),
Or Service vehicle soon (SVS) the car will report.
Strange that it would say “Stop vehicle now” if you were not driving, but instead charging.

My apologies it said "stop safely now" while in park.

Basically tried these steps. Didn't try plugging it in again for fear that there was something wrong with the charger and the car would not move so I couldn't change stations.

Update: I got my car back today. The dealer had to replace the 12v Battery and the BECM.

Hopefully it stays problem free for a bit longer.
