What is "Ford Streaming" ?

Just brought my 2023 MME 2 weeks ago after a 10 months wait, they are now asking me to sign up for the $10/mo Ford Streaming service after the 30 days trial.
The description looks like it is just for the Amazon/Alexa service but I am not sure. I don't use Alexa but can I still use the YouTube if I don't subscribe to the service ?

Yep. Ford Streaming gives mobile/cellular access to YouTube, Alexa, and some NBC apps. You can access the video apps without the subscription while the vehicle is joined to WiFi, though.

It's not worth it IMO. You can do the same stuff through your phone for no additional charge. If your phone's coverage is spotty where you're at, you can haggle ATT to go $15/mo fully unlimited on the hotspot in the vehicle that's got better antennas and therefore better range. I have it active in both of my vehicles. 2 vehicles w/ unlimited data + my phone comes out to a grand total of $45/mo

I think $10 for the Ford Streaming is fair because I don't have hotspot with my Cricket service.
