I just tried a couple of tests on mine, and I realized that I get the chime after opening the rear hatch when using the button on the hatch to open the door, or the kick-sensor to open. If I use the button on the touch-screen in the car to open the hatch - no chime. I don't use PaaK, so I cannot test opening from the app. Not sure what all that means. Just thought it was an interesting observation.

I've set my trunk to the UK ding ding. Sometimes it don't ding ding, some times it ding ding at the top, sometimes when opening and it gets to the top, sometimes when you go to close it.
I'm pretty sure I set the UK Pubcrawl DingDing in Forscan.

This makes sense. I did try to adjust the speed using Forscan. Must have done this to myself!!
Hey, do you remember the setting in Forscan that you changed? I'd like to look at that...

do you remember the setting in Forscan that you changed?
I am so sorry, I don't. And I don't have access to the laptop I used, so I can't go check. In truth, I don't think it worked, as it seems like it is the same speed as always, but I didn't time it beforehand, so who knows? Maybe my best guidance is, once you're in forscan, scroll through all the settings? You'll find lots of interesting things, but be sure before changing anything!

I get this one from time to time, too. I always the car "what are you complaining about?", but it has yet to respond.

I’ve had mine for 3 years. We set the trunk opening height before we left the dealer’s lot. The chiming has just started happening to me in the last couple of weeks.

@Mrs Chivus, yes, I think the same for me. I've noticed it doesn't do this every time, probably about half the time. And it doesn't seem to matter if I start the trunk opening from the display screen or from the button on the back of the car.

I wish, when Ford Motor Company says, "I can look into things on my end" they actually meant it, and were keeping some sort of database of these problems. But my experience with that response is they simply contact my dealer, and then my dealer says something like, "Why did you sic Ford Corporate onto us?". So it seems like they really aren't doing much.

Why not take any help from Ford. I mean they mist likely will do nothing but it cant hurt
I tried to explain in the post previous to yours. When when Ford Motor Company says, "I can look into things on my end" they don't actually do anything other than contact your dealer to make an appointment. My dealer, at least, didn't appreciate it the one time I tried it, and didn't understand why Ford Corporate was interacting with them.

It would be totally different if they were actually tracking problems and bringing them to some Mach-E design team to either improve current design through OTA's or at least to improve future Mach-E designs. But there is no evidence they do that and the Ford Motor company user has not been transparent at all in how they are helping, if at all. If anyone has any knowledge that they are actually helping our cause in some way, please let us know.
