When does FordPass push charges settings to vehicle

I find that changes I make in FordPass do not get into the vehicle in a timely manor - takes a day or more. I cannot figure out what sequence of events is necessary to make this happen. Any help on this?

It should be almost instant.

Ive had mine since 6/21 and have had almost no issues. However, the past week or so I randomly started having an issue where my charging preferences and departure times weren’t syncing to the car.

it would say they successfully synced up, but when checking the car, they hadn’t been received or applied correctly. Not sure which.

I was also having issues with ford pass overall. Remote functions not working along with the above issue.

All that being said: I disabled connected vehicle feature (under settings -> connectivity -> top option) in the car and re-enabled them. Everything is seemingly back to normal.

I find making charge settings in the car to be virtually bulletproof. The app is inconsistent, so I stopped using it for charge settings.

Thanks. Good to know others find some "mystery" in this area. I have started making these changes directly through the in car interface. I'll give settings->connectivity trick a go and see what happens.

Depends on how the Ford server mice are feeling

If you haven't used your car in several days it can fall into "deep sleep". But if the car was recently used and is parked in a location where the AT&T cellular radio can get signal -- then any changes you make via FordPass should push to the car within moments of you making the change in the app (typically less than a minute).

Latest OTA Ford Power-up 3.6.1 although my problems predate this update
One recall performed by dealer: REPROGRAM HVAC CONTROL MODULE
